Basekick Labs LLC ("Basekick Labs", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect when you use basekick.net and our products, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

Archie Chat Widget
When you use Archie, our AI support assistant on basekick.net, we collect the following:
- Name and email address — provided voluntarily through the chat form when you start a conversation.
- Conversation content — the messages you send and the responses Archie provides.
- Session metadata — a session identifier and timestamps to maintain conversation continuity.
This data is stored in Memtrace, our memory layer for AI agents, and is used to provide context across your conversation and improve support quality. Conversations are processed by a third-party AI service to generate responses.
Website Analytics
We use Microsoft Clarity for website analytics, which collects usage data including page views, session recordings, and heatmaps. Clarity may set cookies on your browser for analytics purposes. We use this data to understand how visitors interact with our site and improve the user experience.
Visitor Identification
We use Apollo, a third-party visitor-identification service, to help us recognize the businesses and individuals visiting our site. This service uses cookies and device or network signals, matched against third-party data sources, which may reveal personal information such as your name, company, or business contact details even if you have not submitted a form. We use this to understand which organizations are interested in Arc and to inform our sales and marketing outreach. To opt out, email privacy@basekick.net.
Email Communications
If you provide your email address through the chat widget or contact forms, we may use Mailgun to send transactional emails. Your email address is shared with Mailgun solely for the purpose of email delivery.

- To provide and improve our support through the Archie chat widget
- To maintain conversation context so Archie can provide relevant responses
- To generate internal daily digests of support conversations for quality improvement
- To understand how visitors use our website and improve its design
- To identify the organizations interested in our products and inform our sales and marketing outreach

3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may process your data:
- AI service provider — Processes chat messages to generate Archie's responses.
- Microsoft Clarity — Website analytics and session recordings. Subject to Microsoft's Privacy Statement.
- Apollo — Visitor-identification service that matches site visitors against third-party data sources to identify the businesses and individuals visiting our site.
- Mailgun — Email delivery service. Subject to Mailgun's Privacy Policy.
- GitHub — Source code hosting for our open-source projects. Subject to GitHub's Privacy Statement.
4. Data Retention
Chat conversation data stored in Memtrace is retained for support quality and continuity purposes. Website analytics data is retained according to Microsoft Clarity's standard retention periods. We do not retain data longer than necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data for money. We share data with the third-party service providers listed above, solely for the purposes of operating our services. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
Under certain U.S. state privacy laws (including the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA), our use of analytics and visitor-identification services such as Microsoft Clarity and Apollo may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. You can opt out at any time, and California residents may exercise their rights, by emailing privacy@basekick.net.
6. Cookies & Your Choices
basekick.net uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics (Microsoft Clarity) and visitor identification (Apollo), as described above. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings; doing so may affect how the site functions.
To opt out of analytics and visitor identification, or to request that we stop processing your data, email privacy@basekick.net.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you
- Request deletion of your personal data, including chat conversation history
- Request correction of inaccurate personal data
- Opt out of analytics and visitor-identification processing at any time

8. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (TLS), secure API authentication, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us at privacy@basekick.net and we will promptly delete it.
